Called this morning.  Unfamiliar number + no message left = unimportant call, most likely a scam of some sort.  Since this number is similar to my cell phone number, and since when I'm home I have all calls to my cell phone automatically forwarded to my landline phone, I assume this idiot probably tried calling my cell phone thinking I'd answer since the number is similar to my own (same area code and exchange).  Guess again!  I don't answer calls from unfamiliar numbers, no matter which phone they come through.
