This number called. CID said "not in service," so I assume it was spoofed. Seemed like a well done robo-call. "Mike" told me I could qualify for a great new security service being installed in my area. He'd have to ask me a few questions to see if I qualify. First, "Are you the home owner?" I said "I have a great security system I'm happy with." After a pause, "Mike" said "You qualify! I'm putting you through to a specialist. Don't hang up!" I hung up. SCAM.
Got a call this morning and yesterday afternoon. Didnt answer either. Yesterday when I called back after 5pm, the voicemail claimed to be a company called Grand Incentives, business hours until 5pm, blah blah... scam!
Called me twice yesterday, but when I looked them up I saw that they were basically a scam number. They called me again today and when I answered I asked them how they got my number, which they said through a sweepstake I signed up for at the Howard County Fair. I then asked them what the purpose of the call was, and they told me I was randomly selected to BUY some vacation package. When I asked them to send something in the mail they told that ahy sales had to be made over the phone.
This phone number WON'T STOP calling me! I'm going to have to get Verizon to block the number. The call history only goes 3 months back but I shouldn't have even let it go this far. Before it was a girl who called claiming I won a vacation package for $200 but I had to pay for it up front? I told her I'm not interested and didn't get a call for awhile. Now it won't stop. They called on 7/30 at 2:23pm and 7:34pm. Both missed. Again on 8/18 at 12:23pm and 8/26 at 5:53pm. Missed again. I answered on 8/27. The guy said the same thing - I won a vacation package. I told the guy I wasn't interested at least 4 times and he kept going and going until I just hung up on him. He called back the next day (8/28) at 10:15am. Missed. And again at 3:18pm where I ignored the call. Called again on 8/31 at 9:18am. Missed. And just now 9/11 at 11:20am.
