This number has called a few times and been missed.. Just called at 9:00 PM on a Monday night... Ticked me off at the time so I answered... A man named "Steve" asked for my husband by name, I said he was not available and then he said he was from "My phone" and "Was this a good time" I replied that it was not and stated that I was on the do not call list.. He asked How that was working out for me.. and then hung up in me.. Total loser freak with a lot of time on his hands.. I would stronly urge anyone to NOT answer.
Got a call from this number. Didn't pick up because out-of-state area code, and I don't know anyone at that number. They didn't leave msg. Thanks for the feedback here.
What we all should do: reports this jerk to the do not call Registry complaint line. They will investigate him, since he is obviously violating the do not call Registry. I am on that registry.
Call 888-382-1222, Follow the prompts. It is very easy to file the complaint. Also, if you're not already on this registry, it is very easy to get on it using the same phone number.
Bonus if you have AT&T: I called them to complain about this. They have a promotion where they'll give you 30 numbers you can block for 90 days, for free!! The service automatically stops in 90 days so there is no chance you will get charged.
Whoever this is really pisses me off. Every time I answer the incoming phone call, the call immediately disconnects with no chance for me to say anything and no noise whatsoever. That seems to be a broken machine. When I called the number back, all I get is a recorded message saying this number is not in service. Exasperating to be called several times a day and have this keep happening!
