When I answered the phone there was just silence on the other end. I called the number back and never even got a the sound of a phone ringing on the other end or any kind of recording… just silence. Strange.
The calls (several per week) from this number are recordings that are made to sound as though they are not. They say that I am going to receive an emergency medical call system for free and that it will be delivered for free. There is an instruction at the end to press 1 to set up a delivery time and to press some other number if I don't want to be called anymore. Choosing not to be called does not work. We are also on the do-not-call list for telemarketers, but I guess it doesn't filter this, because it is a "free" offer? Of course the equipment is free, but I am sure that the service charge per month is what is really being marketed.
I also got a message that I'd get a free medical call system. I spoke to the agent ("Adrine") and asked for her number so I could call her back. She refused to give me a number. When I called the number from caller ID, the call wouldn't go through.
Thanks guys. Got the same trash call here around 3pm with no message left. Callback with *67 to block my number from displaying and without it both yeilded no ring. Into the blocked list this trash goes!
