This number also called me today and a different number yesterday and a different number the day before all from the FOP.I am so sick of getting these calls. If this was a legitimate charity then they would use the same name with a caller ID instead of Bishop, MD, Glen Burnie, MD and Brooklyn, MD. If I am going to give to the Fraternal order of police. I will go to the local police department! All these people do is try to collect money for themselves and give a small percent if any to the charity. If you want to give to a charity look to your local BBB and find a legitimate charity that you pick not that pick you. Sorry to vent! But I never get a "real" phone call anymore. It's mostly scammers!
saw the number on my caller id, registered "anonymous". Called to see whether it was real number, got voicemail message saying the business hours (they work every day so you can expect calls on Sunday's, too), and giving the option to be added to their do not call list. Of course the voice mailbox is FULL, so you cannot leave a message. However, I doubt that the effort to do so would be worth the time it took. In my opinion, if a company will not give you their name in an outgoing message attached to voicemail, that company is not legitimate and they have some things to hide! Do not answer this call, or call it back.
my caller ID said "anonymous". didn't answer & no message left. i have received several calls recently from different numbers, all seem to be registered to a faux FOP fund raiser.
