Got a call on my cell (which is on the do not call list) from this number. Maryland call. Recording says "do you want your business listed first on Google? Press 1, to remove this number from our call list press 9". I pressed 9... and exactly 9 minutes later I got the same exact call from Albany, Oregon. What good is the Do Not Call Registry?
We are very tired of these calls -- very busy office and must answer every call. It is quite annoying to be interrupted and lose your train of thought only to find it is a recording. If I have the time, I am giving them a dose of their own medicine. I push to talk to a rep and then when they answer I say something to the effect "You have reached phone number 555-XXX-XXXX - Push One to be Disconnected and Please don't call back!"
