Got a call from man who said his name was Tim and he was an electrician with Home Depot and wanted my maintenance tech cell phone number. Said my man had called him for information. Asked me if I was the property manager. I took his name and number to call back.
When called back same voice said his name was Jeff Davis and he was a private contractor and someone must be pulling a scam on him. I requested he remove our phone number from his list and he said I had called him.
These people are running a scam. They called me with a blocked/fake caller ID. After I didn't answer, they left a voicemail to call them back at this number.
They are just phishing for information and a name so they can send you a bill. I recognized this right away and hung up. Do not give them your name, address, phone, fax, any information. They will use it to harass you and try to get money out of you.
