i think you miss understood. I didnt get huffy i have no reason to you know how many times i am told that companys dont take solicitation calls (its not that often because once they find out who i am they transfer or take my info). If i got upset I wouldnt be able to work nor would i have a job for so long. You get more bees with honey then vinegar.
I am not sales or debt so not getting a person is not a big deal to me. i make the same regardless so i am not pressured to get info if i do good, if not ok.
If you would have listened or even asked who i was like most receptionists are required to do as part of their job you would know why i was calling and it wasnt sales and you could have taken my info like most do when i call also and pass to who needs the info vs transferring me or giving me name.
Your professionalism is showed here in the above post as i have done this for many many yrs and you are the only negative one (other notes go back through 2008)and not only are you just not being nice your being rude trying to offend me and get me respond in a negative manner by calling me names which is uncalled for but again shows your professionalism.
Called the office number. Couldn't get the the phone the first time, they called back immediately afterwards. Asked to speak to an ex-Manager no longer with the company. Told her this and she then asked to speak to a recruiter.
I am sorry i am doing my job, the person who was listed was at one time a contact, if i called right back it was probably to verify the number was a good number sometimes when people dont pick up it is because it is a bad connection or bad number.
