Total scam. They are based out of India I confronted them and now the phone # just has a busy signal.. So they must have blocked me. Send a complaint to the federal trade commission at ftc.gov
Just got a call from this 1-410-501-5755 . I picked up & got hung up right after i answered. I called it a man answered saying he was a IRS investigator. said i owed money, Threated me . Said he was sending the police to arrest me. Name he said he was Allen Foster. Hard to understand him. Sounded like he was from Indiana. Knew my name wrong address/' Just kept threating me with police. Ask why i wanted his name., I said i was calling the police on him. & i hung up.
The same thing just happened to me. He had my old address and said he was sending the police to arrest me within a hour. I told him I was going to call the 800 IRS number for real and he told me this was my last chance to get assistance.I hung up and he called me back. I didn't answer though because nobody at the IRS would call you back after making contact with you that's illegal.
