Called my listed and then my unlisted numbers about an hour apart. The listed number stated a Caller ID of Ellicott City, Maryland., no name given. Googling the number says it belongs to a person who lives on Hillsborough Rd in Ellicott, Maryland. Either this person is being spoofed or she's working a list as per one of those "Make $1000 a day!" scams. I'm not supplying her name here since I'm unsure of whether she's a victim or a victimizer.
Got the same call, no message. But yesterday, as I was working, I got a call that came up on the ID as me. 5 minutes later, I got another call from "Purple Heart" MD ( figure that one) . My guess is another round of scams.
I to just received a call from this number. The abrasive individual stated that he was with the State FOP Lodge. He went on by stating that the call was being recorded and was that OK. This is the second call from this individual and number in as many months. My response was the same as the prior call. I did not give him permission to record me and told him to remove my number from his list. He was still talking when I terminated the call.
