4th unsolicited call today from 4 different creeps today. This is so out of control. We have blocked 107 calls since the end of April this year and our phone will ring one time each time the same numbers that are blocked in an attempt to reach us and the blocked call system goes off a minimum of 4 times s day every day 7 days a week. They are blocked, they know it and they still try to call. How stupid is that. So today is the first time this caller rang and did not leave s message so this number is now blocked. Out of control and law enforcement won't help stop the insanity.
Why can't the telephone company devise and allow for a method to collect a monetary fee for calls that are bothersome and annoying? Is there a way to crack down on calls that are not needed or desired?
Someone is missing on a way to punish scam callers and those types of calls that are unnecessary.
Maybe the government, FCC needs to orchestrate a means to collect money for bothersome calls and allow those bothered to know they are helping to curb such actions etc. Everybody might benefit from such a pill.
Can something good come out of something disturbing others? Lets hope so in this day and age.
Robocall with msg to 'lower your interest rate'. Gives option to: "opt out from future calls', or be transferred to an agent. Choosing to 'opt out' ensures that you will continue to receive these robocalls. Choosing transfer will transfer to an offshore ? call center. Most likely offshore - connection quality is poor, agent speaks English with foreign accent, is NOT rude.
