Called at 7:30 pm June 2, and again at 5:30 pm June 3. Caller ID said Odenton MD. I don't answer calls from unfamiliar numbers, so I waited till the answering machine picked up so I could screen the call. The first thing I heard was a dial-tone, indicating that the caller had hung up during my outgoing message, so it must have been a live human placing the call since they recognized the words as an answering machine message.
Therefore I didn't block it at first, since I do know someone there and there were no complaints about the number here or on any similar sites.
However they called again the next day and again hung up during my outgoing message, so I have now blocked the number. If it's someone who really is trying to call me personally (rather than a scammer) they're going to have to find another way to reach me.
