Calling my work number saying they are Flynn Recovery Services and there is a verbal and written complaint about me. She even stated the last 4 of my ssn. I know this is not a legitimate company because what legit debt collector says your ssn on a voicemail. I have no way of stopping these calls because I cannot find who they are.
This is 100% a scam, I got a call from them yesterday after alot of researching on what little they would tell me in between threats of there being a warrant out for me. I have it confirmed the whole thing is one big scam. Way i know for sure 1 they are using my maiden name for a debt too recent for my maiden name to be on it. 2 there are no charges pending against me in any state and I did call my local police department and had them check there are no warrants for me anywhere 3 They get hostile if you ask them any questions or gainsay what they are stating. 4 one of the reps I talked to actually said his name was "Investigator Mack" and tried to say he was from my local police department, while calling from a long distance number( he got very irate when I mentioned this) 5 I went back to originator of the supposed debt and while there is a check out there from someone else with the same name as my maiden name, it has been checked by them that it is not for me and that this County Check Services does not hold that debt, they also confirmed I have never done business with their company. 6 they cannot give an address of where to send anything( my attorney is sending them a cease and desist) and they got very hostile when I told them why i needed it. 7 i have never received anything from this company through the mail showing me the debt and when asked i got just more of the hostile crap. I was advised to block their number and on the FBI website it says to not give them any money and report them here https://www.ic3.gov
They called me today private and left a message that's how I got they number it was a lady name melanie stewart and she said that I did a payday loan back in 2010 for 800 but couldn't tell me what account number it was put in clearly I haven't had a checking account in about 5 years she gave me address that I current living at said that's the address I use in 2010 but I just moved there like 3 months ago.then they gave me a car hyndai sonta I nevr had a hyndai in my life they can't saying they can give me too much information cause they system is goin down and wanted me to call back Monday I think its a scam or somebody using my my name.what should I do
