It's an autodialer for the ever popular car warranty scam. I pressed one to talk to someone. This is how it went down:
The minion, "Hello, would you like to talk to an auto warranty specialist about extending your warranty?"
"Hi, this is <my name> with <company name>. We have a whole fleet of vehicles. Which one has an expired warranty? The recording wasn't very clear about that."
The minion, "Oh well, we actually don't know what cars you have. We're just..."
"You're just spamming the whole country with a recording?"
"Yes, well..."
"We'd never be interested then, have a nice day."
And I got to hang up first, woot! lol
The most annoying part is how these auto warranty recordings always say it's my final warning. I've received a billion final warnings that my warranty is about to expire, even though they admit they have no information about anyone's vehicle that they call. TOTAL SCAM!
