Today is the 2nd time in a month we have received a call from this number (collection agency?). They left a message asking for someone by the name of Kelly to call them back the first time they called. Since there is no one in my family with a first, middle or last name of Kelly we did not call them back believing they dialed incorrectly. So call again today and asked for the same woman to call them back. I simply told the gal she has called the incorrect number. She apologized and said she would not call here again, I said "that would be appreciated" and I hung up. Why don't these collection agencies verify the phone numbers they have before they call. Trust me, I am fully aware that they have the resources available to them. Starting first with checking with the phone company. Cut corners and make a fool of yourself every time.

I had a series of similar calls from a different number. In my case the bill collector was calling the number the debtor put on the loan application. Apparently the debtor planned to stop making payments on the loan and gave a fake phone number to avoid the bill collectors.
