Called back the number and first thing I'm greeted with is, "this is Joe Marinelli, this call is being recorded". I told him "NO", and he said yes it is. I told him where to go!! I am being BOMBARDED by debt collectors for the people who previously owned my landline number 3+ years ago. I'm tired of ALL of them !!
Hey so the number that you're referring too is 4108643265 correct? Just curious because this number I'm referring to has literally harassed me and some how they got cell phone numbers for my great grandmother (that is 101 years old btw) that had her so scared. This mam that called from this number told her that she was to pay for my account in the full amount of $192.98 or that she was going to receive federal charges.. Wtf do I do about this because I have told several people who call from this number to leave me alone. Oh and now because of me getting irate after 10 back to back phone calls in one hour one day they have contacted other family members to harass them and I'm getting cussed out by them thinking that I've done something wrong... who the hell do I call to report them and file charges because my great gma literally had her check book out when my aunt happened to walk in by the grace of God and grab the phone because she isn't supposed to be doing any payments because she is also half death. They Gave her a real check book for her account (I.e. my family) to make her think she was still in control she's just made accidental purchases before lol. And the bank would have automatically flashed it cause it's a small town bank. And because the numbered checks in her "book" are a lot higher than the ones their on now lol by like 2000 some numbers lol. Its just this person(s) could have easily gotten her account numbers so BEWARE OF THIS NUMBER. P(ublic)S(ervice)A(nnouncement)
Just because someone on the phone calling you says you owe a debt does not mean you actually owe it.
If a voice on the telephone claims you owe a debt:
1. Demand the person give you his or her name, company name, and address
2. Demand a debt validation letter by US mail. E-mail no good.
3. Do not pay the collection agent or anyone else a dime until the debt is validated
Of course they won’t do this, no scammer ever will, so simply ignore them and block their calls.
If they are bothering you, report them:

Also contact your local attorney general
If they continue to bother you, and you know you do not owe any money, tell them that you know this is a debt scam and that you are making a complaint to the police for extortion. Once you get a copy of the police report and they call you again , just read out the file number and the name of the PD or Sheriff’s office involved. Tell them you’ll be glad to send a copy to them at whatever address the jack***es are working out of now.
You'll probably have to yell at them and talk over them.
You have to get tuff with these people because, being akin to thugs, brute force is (metaphorically speaking), the only thing they understand.
