Well, Fred, that seems to be their "M.O." (law enforcement term meaning "method of operation"), because that's about the time they called me yesterday - Saturday. They also left no message (on the machine). Since I don't answer calls that (allegedly) originate from numbers and/or areas that I don't recognize (and apparently so do you - smart move) and I strongly urge others to do the same, I have no idea what these "people" wanted, nor do I care. But, I would be willing to bet the mortgage money it wasn't legitimate. See ya around the campfire.
"...You're going to die..." ??? And, I'll bet you didn't even feel sick !! But seriously, This sounds like the "terrorist threat" that was making the rounds last weekend, primarily in the Washington, D.C. area. Local law enforcement got the FBI involved, and they busted a couple of teenagers doing this, probably from their parent's basement. If that's the case with you, I doubt you have anything to worry about, so put your mind at ease. If you live in or near Washington, D.C., you might want to contact the FBI headquarters, and at least let them know what happened to you, and they'll take it from there. Hope you find this helpful.
