Third party blocking service seems to intercept calls from this number on June 8, 2016.
We got a call from this number with CID name set to "Odenton MD" the evening of June 8, 2016. It rang only once and did not call back. Our third party blocking service (rhymes with SlowNoHobo) intercepts calls with caller ID numbers on their blacklist or tripping their "Advanced Robocall Detection" algorithms after one ring, so they're most likely already clamping down on calls from this number.
Reverse lookup tells me the number is unlisted with "Level 3 Communications" as the VoIP carrier.
I usually come here to 800notes to check on numbers the blocking service nixed, in case there's a mistake. I'm posting about my recent call in case it helps others to know this CID number is already on the service's radar.

Report about similar call from a number with a different last digit:
On May 31, 2016 we got a call with the same CID name, "Odenton MD," from CID number (410) 927-6051. Since then, we've had three other calls with CID name "Odenton MD." One was from this (410) 927-6054 number and the others from (410) 927-6051. Level 3 Communications VoIP is the carrier for both numbers. Our blocking service stopped each call after one ring. Today, June 12, 2016, after the fourth call from these people, one from the (410) 927-6051 number, the caller answered the blocking service's prompt and got their call forwarded to ring us again from the blocking service's number, (608) 371-6666. (The blocking service intercepts calls after one ring and plays a recording to the caller, prompting them to enter a random two-digit code to prove they're not a robot and be forwarded back to our phone.)
I answered. The caller, a man, asked for me by name and said he was calling from "Heritage" to thank me and someone else who lives here for supporting MS in the past. I interrupted him and told him to put our number on their do not call list. He said I'd have to hold on a minute, as getting me added to their list required he get a manager's approval. I told him I wasn't interested in waiting and would report any further calls from his organization to the FTC. "The manager" quickly arrived to say I'd be removed. I said bye and hung up.
Googling "Heritage" and "MS" I find no signs of any legitimate MS charity called Heritage.
I'm posting the above as further evidence that whoever is calling from these numbers is not legitimate business or charity.
