I got a call from this number (but it just said 412 on my caller ID, that's it, no other numbers) on May 16th at about 11:30 am from an Indian sounding woman calling herself Rosie and claiming to be from Microsoft. She stated that they had information that my computer was infected with viruses, and I said (knowing I had just cleaned up a malware package about a week before) oh yeah? She says, "Yes, Ms. (my last name), and it's quite serious! Would you go to your computer and turn it on?" I had to laugh; the malware package I had just cleaned up was Microsoft Advanced User Patch (this IS NOT real Microsoft stuff if you get this one; DON'T INSTALL!!!)! And I'm certain it was sent to me by some payday loan scammers that couldn't get anything from me, so they were pissed.
I said "Nope" and hung up on her.
Incidentally, this computer was given to me by my brother and is registered with Microsoft in HIS name, not mine! I'm positive it was actually the payday loan scammers at work again, trying another pathetic way to rip me off, since they called me BY NAME.
