This is sickening, I get these calls all day long and it is just not me, it is also my friends, is someone getting paid for these annoying calls? THEY CAN GO TO HELL AND RING ALL THEY WANT BECAUSE I DO NOT ANSWER CALLS THAT DO NOT LEAVE A MESSAGE.
Got a call from this number yesterday while driving, didn't answer. Since the prefix is an odd one, I figured it was one of those scam calls about changing electric providers to my "Duquesne" account. I have "Duquesne LIGHT", not "Duquesne". Since this is the sixth phone number that called me about changing, the call is nothing more than pure scam and harassment. I've been writing down all the calls as to what number, dates and times, and any other information I can find about the number, and I've reported each calls to DNC. So far, I've not had a repeat call on the same number after filing a DNC complaint. I'm now sending a copy of my list to the AG office in Harrisburg to file a complaint. Maybe they can do something about it since it is affecting a lot of people. The PUC won't do anything since the group calling is all by certain not registered with them (if they're even legit) and is outside the PUC legal jurisdiction. I doubt if Duquesne Light can do anything either.
The other numbers that have called are: 412-503-6622, 412-503-3235, 412-503-8448, 412-213-5032, and 412-144-4453. The sites I used to find info on phone numbers said the last number was an invalid number . Same thing with this number which is why I feel this is nothing more than a scam job.
Who is your current electric company.....today the number is 412-078-5677. It's an automated call but this time I opted to press a number to receive a live person. It's only a matter of time until they use another number. This has been going on for months.
and as far as the DNC center....I have reported all numbers and have never received any followup from them. and the calls come in 2 to 3 times a day.
