(Have had 7 calls in past 1 1/2 weeks) They leave no message, so therefore I have no way of knowing who they are. Nor can I return a call to tell them to quit calling because they are invalid phone numbers for our calling area. I am on no-call list and don't understand how they are able to continuously call.
This is one of about 15 number that has called me, especially after reading other posts. Company is Discount Center and wanted to know if I had my Duquense bill (I don't have Duquense). When I asked where they an energy company, Brigette said they represent 30 different companies and would find me the best rate. I told her that I had just signed with a company yesterday which I had .. legitimate one .. First Energy.
She thanked me and said she would take me off their list. We will see.
Oh, when they call, hit 5 to speak to someone. I had to wait 3 minutes (nice music) but hopefully it was worth it. You catch more flies with honey than vinegar.
If they call me when I'm on the National Do No Call list? Then they get reported to the FCC at this address: https://esupport.fcc.gov/ccmsforms/form1088!createConsumer.action
I've tried the honey in the past, it never has worked. Now I just report them!
I get about 5 of these calls a day from all different numbers in my area code. Once in a while I pick it up and it is this discount energy thing that is talked about above. A few days ago I was so irritated, it was one of those days and I hit something to talk to a rep and told him to take m off their list, I do not want them ever calling again. He was so nice and said he just took me off-WELL there was a call from this number on my caller id today-guess they did not take me off their list! So irritating.....if I wanted thier discount service I would have signed up by now!!!!
