I got the same message from jason Smith. I called. Someone "Jason Smith" said the same things to me. Threatened me to arrest. freeze bank accounts, cancel passport 7 citizenship if I don't pay due taxes from 2011. Claimed, they sent me three notices. I never received any. Won't send me copy. I must pay within 24 hours to stop proceedings.
Today 4/3/2013, I got the similar message at 3.00PM on my answering system. So they are in business and use the same phone number. These callers are from India. I do not think US government want to go to India and catch them. Neither they have money nor smart man power and patience to deal with the Indian corrupt government.
Just think in last 20 years majority US corporations like GE, IBM, Wall Street, pharmaceutical, hospital firms, including some government sectors used personnel help for technical, financial and Healthcare data processing from Asia. So to get that help they have to give them their US confidential Database access. think how much US citizens personal information are now collected and floating on Asian countries?
In short these Asian smarts know almost every thing about us. Even some time they know more than IRS.Because IRS does not know your health problems but these guys do.
These are from India. A laid off call center debt collection employees using their unused computer and telephone system setup from Banana Republic of India. Think even Prime Minister of India can not prosecute his own corrupt cabinet ministers!!!
Do not think US communication i.e. FCC can not find out their location. Even though they Use IP Phone Magic Jack or Vonnage box with US phone number, but FCC can trace the origination IP Address. But I do not think US government or any law and order authority has interest in it. While Indian government is already in mess. Indian prime minister can not prosecute his own corrupt cabinet members...
They just called my mom's phone and asked for my dad (who was at work) and threatened him with arrest blah blah blah. We are of Indian descent, so it's possible that's who they are targeting. I googled the number and saw these reports, so we are not going to return the call. The caller was a man with a thick indian accent who said his name was David Marshall. Ridiculous.
