Some lady who almost forgot her (fake) name when leaving a message " Hi its Tammy uhhhh ahhh Jones. Umm.. I'm calling about a legal matter. I need a call back or I'll be forced to take legal action" Blah Blah Blah same old story..These type of scammers call me at least once a week for "debts" that don't even exist. I refuse to call back as it only encourages them to call again from a different number. If anyone knows anything about this "company" or an alternate number please post :)
Same here just today. They were asking (get THIS!) NOT ONLY for my wife, but also for BOTH her sisters, on TRUMPED-UP so-called "charges" of "theft of services", or something to that effect. DON'T THOSE NTH-DEGREE JERKAZOIDS EVER GIVE UP???!!! :-(
UPDATE: This SAME number called AGAIN today, and THIS TIME, I was READY! SO...I "took course of action", and put this number in my contacts...under the ID title "IGNORE This!", with a "Ringer Off" setting. Score ANOTHER point for..."WE, THE PEOPLE"! :-)
This person called me saying I have a loan from 2011 and he will have to take legal action. I eventually hung up on him, but he knew my social and license #. That is scary. Relieved to know it is a scam number but upset he has my personal info.
