Received call today. Called back & got a recording: "ty for calling wca subscriber services. this line is for special offers for subscribers only & we don't recognize ur phone # as a subscriber". etc..
Some sort of cash giveaway subscription thing. Called WCA. If you call back and press "5" you can opt out after listening to a long annoying sales pitch.
I recieved a call from 412-204-6375 on 3/30/12 at 2:30pm. It was a recording that said, I entered a drawing, and that my name and number was picked. They went on to say I had won a all expence paid trip for up to 4 people. All I had to do was send them money to hold my reservation. I knew, I DID NOT ENTER my name or my cell phone number anywhere. I waited on the line for someone to pick up and ask for my info. When the person picked up, I could not understand him. Hespoke very poor english. I proceeded to ask him where they got my number from and to stop calling me, that I wasnt falling for this scam. By the time I was half way through my sentence he hung up on me.I then called back and pressed 5 to have my number taken off of thier database. I never enter my name or number for anything, because of this. They have called me 3 more times within 15 minutes. I didnt answer the first 2 times, but I did pick it up the 3rd time, and went off. It didnt stop them they still call me.
