I've received several calls from this number but have never answered it. They have never left a voice mail message either. Today I figured to call them back and I got a recording that said something like, "You have recently visited one of our webpages and have one a $100 gift card good at stores like Walmart, etc."
Okay, so if I did "visit", how did they get my unlisted cell phone. I NEVER make that available to random webpages I visit. If a website wants a phone number, I tend to give them an old one from my childhood days, but never a true number to ME personally. So that alone tells me this is a robo call and I never visited any dang page of theirs. Just put them on ignore and silence their ring.
Hopefully, it's not a shell number for a current scam that directs your call to an international number (based in Caribbean) that results in outrageous fees. Here's a recent article about it:
Just got a call that rang for half a ring then disconnected. Looked it up and found these reports - so assuming it's a RoboCall. Also on do not call list and unlisted. Not going to call back - thanks for posting it up, folks!
