Received a phone call from this number, after saying hello three times someone said they were collecting for the Fraternal Order of Police. Checked with the local PSP and this is not legit. DO NOT give out any information and hang up on them. This is a scam!
Called during dinner. Tried to return the call after dinner but the phone is always busy 24/7.
Some other sites say they are collecting for injured police officers.
NEVER give your credit card to someone who calls YOU over the phone. Caller ID can be spoofed and you can NEVER be sure who you are talking to if you did not call them. Legitimate charities have real phone numbers that you can call for information about the charity. Be sure you know where the money is REALLY going before you give. Think about who you are giving the money to. Take your TIME before you GIVE.

This scum-sucking, bottom-feeding, low-life scum bag called a 1345 on Sunday afternoon while we were eating supper. Caller ID showed “NOT_AVAILABLE”. Guy said he was "collecting donations for an injured police officer". When I asked for the name of the police officer, the guy himmed and hawed. I then told him I was a retired Marine sniper, having served three tours in Afghanistan and I really needed some target practice. And since he was calling from the Pittsburgh area, I’d be right over. He hung up.
