ID box said "Amsher Corp" - no idea who that is. I returned the call, using the number from the ID box and got a recording: "this number is for outgoing calls, only!"

These guys always call from this number saying they want money for "fire fighters association" or "Policeman's association." I dunno if I believe them...
It comes up as Amsher Corp which is basically a collections agency...?
Called two days in a row. Same guy saying he was looking for donations to support the guys driving by my house to protect me. Named specific nearby communities' public safety departments. Real chatty on the second day. I never donate to anyone who solicits by phone.
I get at least 5 calls a day from them in the past month, I finally answered it today and the guy was asking for donations for the Fraternal Order of Police and that they would be in my neighborhood tomorrow. How convenient that they would be here the next day after I answered the phone when they have been calling for weeks now! I asked him to stop calling and he said "you don't want to donate to the people that protect you?" and I said I don't believe you and don't call here, I looked you up and I know you are a collection agency which he of course denied and told me goodbye.
