Call came in on cell phone with the caller ID of Turtle Creek, PA. As I don't answer unknown phone numbers I don't know who they are. No voice mail left. Number blocked, but I'm sure they have a million phone numbers for their operations.
I received a call from 1-412-376-1296 that ID'd as 'VOIP'. 'VoIP' stands for 'Voice over Internet Protocol', and use the internet to place phone calls. There are several venders, including ‘ooma’, SKYPE (Google), Vonage, etc. Long story short, a call can be made from anywhere in the world to your phone. Also there are devices that can camouflage the caller by any name and coming from any number. Beware, there are scammers out there! If you don't know the phone number, recognize the voice, or you didn't contact them; it can be a scam. Beware the bottom feeders...
