from another site: "Guy said he was from Fraternal order of police."
Probably from a 'professional fund raiser' where very little gets back to the actual cause.
Just city and state in the ID, Phishing spam. Phishing = prank.
When will 'they learn' - I would guess at least 80% or more people do not do any donations via the telephone anymore.
Even it there was a proper ID I wouldn't call any charity back. I will not give out any credit card info to any charity.
Call from the Fraternal Order of Police. I asked him why my husband, a police officer, has never heard of them and he apologized and said he would take my number off the call list and then hung up. Total scam
