Just like the others reported. They said the call was for donations for injured in the line of duty policeman's families. They wanted to send an envelope for $100, $50.00 or $25 donations. When I hesitated he asked if we could do the minimum amount I said I didnt want to donate and they disconnected. I called back and there is no connection. SCAM!
Folks, they're scammers for "fallen police officers" or injured police blah blah blah. What, don't our brave Police Officers have health insurance, disability insurance? OF COURSE THEY DO! Don't fall for these scammers, they've been calling me for 30 years! Call someone you know on the police force (I did 30 years ago) they'll tell you it's a scam!
Also, the number 412-387-9432 with Caller ID "Clairton PA" is the same scam.
