I get the same call...  But he has the name right it's a recording and he has a southern accent and says...  "hello (name)  hello  are you there?  So weird

Called asked for me by name. Said he was with the police department.  Told him I had no money to give anyone. Sad thing is I think the police do solicit by phone so someone needs to stop these scammers pronto.

He had the right name but this was a person not a recording.

Repeated calls at all hours. Male voice leaves same message each time. "Is Jay there?" and hangs up. Midwest accent. Like Minnesota or Northern Michigan.

Male voice asked is so and so there? He was asking for my husband who has been deceased for 5 years. Very upsetting!
