MY husband has liver cancer and has signed a lot of papers over the past two years ..when they call he doesn't answer and i do when i get a chance. I tell them I will be filing a dispute with the attorney generals office with their number and they seem to go away. she said she was a healthcare professional and asked me if i had someone with limited mobility . I said no and if she calls again she will here from the attorney general.
This is a robo caller from some medical company that has hacked into medical records through a 3rd party that pays doctor offices to provide them with your medical information. You may have signed a release not knowing by someone telling you to sign for treatment or billing yet you sign giving permission for the medical service you are using to provide your health information to a 3rd party partner. If you do not sign your information will probably provided to them anyway. This is a terrible breach of sharing medical records with commercial businesses, yet if you signed it is legal (except the robo-caller). Makes you wonder what your doctors office cares more, selling private information or protecting your most private records.
