Thanks for the analysis, which I agree with. But there is one oddity about the robodialed calls that I receive. I have 2 separate telephone numbers at home, one listed and one unlisted, with just one digit difference between the two numbers. I receive multiple scammer calls per day on the listed number, but virtually never receive one on the unlisted number. So I use a call blocking device on the listed number, but not on the unlisted one. Why wouldn't a robodialer produce more or less the same number of calls to both numbers?
No message = telemarketer. 5/18 @12:04pm This # is what they call "Spoofed", meaning you cannot call the # back because it (somehow) is not showing the REAL # it is calling from. Do NOT answer it. If you look under People Verified it will give you this information.
I'm sorry, but you are wrong. These scammers don't need to access the DNC list to get your phone number, be it a land line or cell. Most of them use autodialers that call every number in an area code in the hopes that someone will answer and fall for their line of BS. Plus, you seem to be forgetting one simple fact. The people that do this nonsense are criminals. They couldn't care less about the DNC law or any other, for that matter.
