a few months this number came up as Pittsburgh 412-430-5688. They were trying to sell diabetic supplies. Then it came up Pittsburgh radiator 412-430-5688 trying to sell breathing supplies. Now the latest from this number they are trying to get you to change electic companies. Isn't it time the attorney general does some thing about this company! I have put this number on their complaint list over 18 times. Of course, nothing is ever done about them.
This number calls CONSTANTLY. Usually let it go to machine~they don't leave message. Answered today and asked to be put on do not call list. Guy said ONLY MY HUSBAND COULD REQUEST THAT. I just blocked the number.
I get a call from this number at least once a week. They never leave a message on the voicemail. If you answer the call no one is there. This call usually comes with a call from a private number, within and hour before or after. Same thing. No message or no one on the line. Twice I just waited the Private Number one out. The first time I was eventually connected to a telemarketer for the Fraternal Order of Police wanting a donation. The next time, after I listed my number on the Do Not Call list, I got an automated 'Goodbye' before it disconnected.
I'm thinking this is an automated telemarketing system. Once you answer it checks to see if you number is on the Do Not Call list. If it is it disconnects. If it isn't it routes your number to whatever telemarketers are contracting with them. This way Telemarketers add a layer of legal protection to themselves, They didn't call you, your call was routed to them by an automated system they are contracting with. That automated system made the call and re-routed the call to them after being answered.
55 calls and counting from July 17th-Aug 27th. I am so glad I have this blocked. Comcast records it as a missed call. I check the log occasionally. I am 99% sure they are scammers from what other posters have said.
