These people just don't give up. So much for the Do Not Call list - grrr!!

Did you talk to whoever is calling? You don't say ...
How do you expect the "Do Not Call list" to deter calls from clod telemarketers or criminals?

Three calls in less than 24 hrs, they hang upon the answering machine clicking on. Its a home phone, we never answer. :-)

Just received a call from this number.  NO NAME, just that long string of numbers following a "V" and then the 412-501-2001.  Our policy is, IF IT'S IMPORTANT, THEY'LL LEAVE A MESSAGE.   BE SMART AND BE SUSPICIOUS.  YOU DO NOT WANT TO TALK TO THESE PEOPLE.
Callers who hang up on your answering machine fall into a few categories, none of which are to your benefit:
Robocalls
Autodialers (probably same as Robocall)
Spammers and Scammers and Criminals trying to extort money from anybody they can.
NEVER, EVER ANSWER A CALL FROM A NUMBER THAT DOES NOT DISPLAY A NAME OR BUSINESS YOU ARE FAMILIAR WITH!  You can be 100% sure they have no good or honest intent.
THE DO NOT CALL service is only heeded by honest organizations.  The dishonest ones far, far outweigh the legitimate ones.
If you have the ability, BLOCK the number if it calls a second time.
