Called again today stating it was the 2nd and final attempt. The funny thing is he says that every time and he has called probably 12 times.
Says my name and social are linked to civil and criminal charges in a particular county for check fraud. I called that county court system, they said there is nothing. Scam ..... scam...... scam.
Also doesn't follow the law... provides senstative information in a voicemail and doesn't explain this is an attempt to collect a debt....mini maranda.
I recieved a call like that today for the same thing and he really sounded legitamite and I believe what he said, but since I know that this is a scam, I will report it.
