"SERVICE DEPT" calls every morning about 9 am. Recorded message. I used to answer occasionally but have learned to ignore the call. I am registered with the National Do Not Call Registry; why is the pernicious number still so active? Why hasn't the NDNCR done something about it?
There is no stopping these guys even if you block the number they just use a different one. To bad we can't forward the calls to the US congress and than maybe something would get done. I am sure the elected ones would not take kindly to being bothered by them.
Yeah, these bozos tried to call me a few minutes ago. Caller ID said "SERVICE DEPT" yeah, right. Unplugged the phone and googled the number. Sure enough, spam. If they call again I'll block them. But I NEVER answer these calls. All that accomplishes is verifying they have a valid number to turn around and sell to the next set of bozos. I wonder, is this the only country having this problem?
