The caller said he was calling from Microsoft about my computer and had a heavy middle eastern accent. I said I couldn;t talk to him at that time and gave my son the number. He found the trail of many others who received calls from the same number from a similar caller who told them thier computer had been hacked.
Called twice yesterday and did not leave a message. Called again today, so I was dumb enough to answer. What a scam!!! The guy (with very heavy accent) says "you have Microsoft computer hey" I said, "what about the computer?" He said, "you have been hacked" I said, "you are crazy!!! I was just on it and it is fine. I have protection software and it is not hacked. How would you know any how?" He hung up.Don't answer calls from this number!!!
Just got call too, after repeating himself over and over about my Microsoft computer (that I don't own) being hacked I told him that I didn't believe him ~ he told me to f*** myself... nice....
