Took the number down, and checked it out. It led me to this page. I keep getting calls from places like this almost everyday. This is the 2nd one today, but the other was from a different company.

Received another call from this same number. Did not answer, just wrote down the number and found that they called me on the 11th.

412-567-5476 is a credit collection company called Southwest Credit.

I received a call on my cell phone. When I answered, I heard nothing but hold music. The hold music lasted 7 minutes before I hung up. Nobody ever came on the line. When I called the number back (blocking my number using *67), it was Southwest Credit looking for someone I never heard of before. They said "I am looking for ___ for a personal business matter". I advised them they have the wrong number.

A lot of these debt collectors are starting to use local numbers now. This one is based in Texas, and I have been seeing a lot of them are using numbers in your own area code instead of toll-free numbers, in hopes that you would answer. Makes sense for them, as I never answer toll-free calls that I receive.
