Guy called saying merchant services ask to speak to the owner I said I wanted to be removed he said no. I said let me speak to the supervisor he laughed and said I am the supervisor. What an [***]!!!!
Called my business and asked for the owner. I asked her to identify herself. She said they were with Card Merchant Services. The Caller ID said Unknown Name so I said 'if you're a legitimate business how come the caller ID said unknown name?' and she hung up. I think that's pretty clear they are just running a scam of some sort.
I get calls from this number 3 or more times a day when I ask them to stop calling they laugh and hang up. I have called Total Merchant Services and they have advised me to act interested in what they are offering and try to get proof of what they are doing. Then contact the gov. fraud department. I hope it works because for a small business owner theses calls are annoying!
