If you receive a text message from this number with a URL do not open it! this is my cell phone number but someone has been using it in a spoofing scam (search that in your browser if you don't know what it is) and sending out a link to a website which may contain a virus and that I've been told (by one of a few angry recipients) opens a "disgusting" webpage. Please do not call and ask me not to message you, the messages are not actually coming from my phone (someone is making my number appear on messages that are being sent from somewhere else) and my phone carrier says there is nothing they can do to stop this from happening.

That's what I've been told. Really stinks, because I've had the same number for probably 10 years, and I have kids and a job, and changing my number, and updating it with all the necessary people is going to be such a pain!
