the caller identified himself as calling from home depot. knew my name. confirmed my name. knew my home address ( from 10 years ago) and asked to confirm it asy current address. i did not confirm and asked why they are calling. the person hung up. very suspicious.
This guy called, I had to say hello twice, then with a lot of back ground noise, a somewhat foreign sounding voice said, "Can you hold on for a second? ...Please, ... " he begs in a whiny voice, " PLEASE, can you hang on ple-ease?", and I don't really say yes or no, but I wait for just a second, then as I was about to hang up, couldn't have been more than 2 seconds, at most, he hangs up just as I was reaching for my button.
Is he trying to somehow use my number to bridge an expensive call? or ???
