Medical alert scam. All equipment is free but pay $34.95 per month for monitoring. Told girl I would not buy anything from someone that violates federal law. She wanted to know how she was in violation. I told her I am on National Do Not Call list and therefore was violating federal law.
MedAlert is in violation of federal laws for continuing to call citizens who have been listed on the FCC's Do Not Call Registry. Now, it is only a mtter of time before this organization and ALL of its employees are placed in federal prison for repeatedly violating the law. In the meantime, ask your Congressmen and Senators to file a warrant for MedAlert's arrest and property seizure. If MedAlert asks you for more information, provide them with your Congressmen and Senators' phone numbers for followup on your DNR registration violation. I am officially providing MedAlert a number to call for more information concerning my case against them for continually harassing me with phone calls after being told not to call again. Another new number, for the same old folks. Have added it to my "blacklist of numbers" so I won't be bothered again, at least until they start using another new number.
If you have a phone that you can block numbers with, or a call blocker, enter the number 949-000-7677, this is the number that shows up on my call blocker, but my caller ID gives me 412-748-1610. Once I put in that 949 number in my phone to block, it rings once and then the call is disconnected. I have a Panasonic KX-TG1061 but I got it years ago, I am sure the new ones are much better :)
If you are like me, you are getting fed-up with these jerks and I will do whatever it takes to keep my privacy because obviously the phone company's and the Do Not Call List providers aren't much help at all....
