Vicky and others... I have Medicare-D. WELLCARE is thru Medicare-D-- there are many others, just happens 2b the one I chose to handle my RX needs. IT is most definitely reputable. Hope this helps. I received a call from this number today. It was a recording saying they were from Wellcare Medical Services. It was an automated service with a female voice claiming to want to confirm my date of birth and probably more info. I hung up on the thing. If they truly wanted to verify my personal information shouldn't theyhave a real human call? Also, I don't verify anything over the phone unless the call originate from me. After all, I have no idea if they are telling the truth human or automated voice.
My Father is elderly and he just received a call from this number. They asked to verify his birthday....and unfortunately he gave it to them. I tried to call them back and got an automated recording. "Thank you for calling, please call the number on the back of your membership card." I would do that, but the woman forgot to give the company name in the automated message. Sounds a little fishy to me.......may possibly be a scam. I am not happy!!!
