I've actually been receiving phone calls from this number for the past 2 weeks or so now. The first time I saw this number was from a missed call. What I always tell myself is: "If they didn't leave a message, it must not that important." I assumed it was some kind of telemarketer or something as I did have someone from AT&T call me a few weeks ago, BUT they actually left me a message. The only thing the Caller ID said was that the number was located in Pittsburgh and I recently found out online that it is a landline. After reading many posts on here I'm just assuming that everyone calling us from all these different numbers must be from the same place.
Must be people and scammers with nothing to do. To this day I haven't answered my phone when this number calls and I rarely do when I don't recognize the numbers, which is why I said, if it was important, they'd leave a message. As for people who get asked for money, under no circumstances give ANYONE money. Please don't fall for these things. They can offer you something that's tempting but try not to give them anything. Not even information about yourself. Ask questions if possible so you can report your findings online and if they get angry mess with them or something ;P Tell them that you're reporting them and the phone call to the police or something.
