I received the same call from Amed Asst, calling for someone who does not live in my house. The number they called from is in Annapolis, MD (410-849-4036). I asked to have my number removed and it was clear that it would not be, by the attitude I received.
we have received calls from "amed asst", asking for "Richard", whom we do not know. I've informed them that they called a wrong number, they promise to remove our number from their list, but never do, and keep calling. Although they have mentionned something about diabetes, my guess is they are some sort of collection agency looking for "Richard" and will continue to be persistent in calling us. The latest number that came up on our caller ID is: 413-306-4659. When I called this back, it rang twice, then disconnected. Verizon Nuisance Call Ctr. (1-800-518-5507) confirmed that this number disconnected for them, as well, and they also thought it was a collection agency. Verizon referred me to my state attorney general's office Consumer Protection Division to file a complaint, which I have done.

The person behind this number had been calling us, but he or she dont say a word to me or my husband. I dont know who this person is, and I dont want to know, the only thing I want is for them to stop calling us....
this person keep calling to my number but dont say anything we are really tired of this, can you do something about it....we dont know anybody with this number,
I have received numerous phone calls from this number today and they never leave a message or when I answer they hang up. I have absolutely no debt so it can't be a debt collector. I tried calling them back but just get a recording saying I will be transferred to the next available agent.
