So we are not alone. Since 5 pm this evening this same number 1-413-346-5476 (also appears on caller id as only North Adams, MA.) has called my home 3 times. Once, 2 of those calls were one immediately following the other, in succession. This # calls QUITE frequently. I also called back and received a recording which gave no indication of what organization it is, what, if any, services they provide, and no option to speak to a live person. The message (paraphrasing) said, thank you for calling back, if you would like to stop receiving calls about our special offers, press 1 to be removed from our call list. Well, I pressed 1 and........the same message repeated (press 1 to be removed). I did so again, and again. This is pure harassment in my opinion. So this "organization" bombards us with phone calls, never is a voice mail left, and now upon calling them back, they give no indication of who or what "they" are and their opting out of further calls option is pure bull. This is wrong. And should I succeed in finding out what this operation is and how to stop their harassment of us all, I will be sure to share my findings. Jerks if you ask me!
Same experience as the rest of you. I did block (413) 346-5476, but just now they called w. (413) 346-5477 (last digit is a 7, not a 6). Perhaps they are getting their kicks from reading this page and enjoying the annoyance they cause.
