Yet another "new number" spam call with us one of the first 'victims.' Since yesterday we've gotten similar, as yet unblocked # calls from 617-401-7841 (no name); 360-912-8935 "PORT ANGELES, WA" ('Patrolmen's Fund' FAKE 'Charity' SCAM) and now this one on our home landline. When I'm home I like to pick up & just listen (silence from me) at the second or third ring if I can get there in time, in order to prevent it from going to the ans. machine and to hopefully 'confuse' the robodialer. Also ties up the scammers line for 10-30 seconds, at least. Another "Dead Air" robocall. So, not sure what scam this is, but SCAM for sure.
I think we are 'first on the list' for a lot of these calls as 'punishment' for having so many numbers blocked and refusing to be taken in by anyone's scam so far!
Could be the restart of the REYNOLDS FAMILY FAKE CHARITY SCAMS. They were supposedly 'shut down' by the Gov'ment in 2015, but their MILLIONS in fines were commuted to $75K. With a slap on the wrist like that, why not go back the CRIMINAL ENTERPRISE that's already made you a MILLIONAIRE?
