Phone rang and when I looked at the caller ID, it said PRIVATE, but the number was from my area code. So I picked it up in case it was something to do with family.
It turned out to be a live person on the other end who first started by asking for me by name, then asking if I owned such and such a vehicle ( year & model ) then proceeded to stated that my warranty was Expired!
At that point I blew up a projected my voice into the phone loud and deep saying Bull$h!t, I purchased a Full warranty when I bought that vehicle and it's still good!
I then hung up the phone. Never have I had one of these come from my own area code.
The government should Legalize the Hunting & Killing of Telemarketers and Scammers with Open Season being Year Round, possibly with cash rewards for eliminating them.
This would go a long way towards reducing these annoying calls.
