I have pressed 9 as suggested to 'stop calls' and yet the calls keep coming twice a week or so. This is the second time I have reported this number. They are selling a "personal medical alert" system. Additionally, pressing 1 to purchase a PMA system terminates the call.
Normal is one call a day. Today one call on my cell and one on my land line. Actually talked to a service rep who said they are receiving numerous complaints
Nice plan, only one problem.
The number you see on your caller ID is not the true number of the calling party.
These are almost universally "voice over internet protocol" connections -- their phones are connected to a computer, which is connected to the Internet. For them it's a simple matter to buy a little box that goes in the line on their end and spoofs any caller ID or number that they want. They can even spoof the recipient's own name and phone number -- so it looks like you are calling yourself.
Also note that people have tried to call this number back and gotten the message that the phone is disconnected. So... if it's disconnected... then nobody is "paying" the "telephone supplier" for this number.

Called my pay as you go cell phone. I did not answer. They stayed on line long enough to make voice message indicator come on but when I called to check no message was left.
